Yes, its a photo of a junk yard but a very interesting junk yard discovered during a break in our Bandit Run road trip from Melbourne to Cairns over the Christmas/New Year break twelve months ago. I liked this photo so much that I had it made into some Moo cards (via Flickr).
I am also going to cheat a bit and post another favourite ….

This photo was taken the same day as the first photo and is “The Dish” at Parkes. The car in the foreground is our ’76 Trans Am, our chariot for the trip.

There is nothing wrong with cheating in this case! The backyard junkyard reminds me of my uncles place in bellingen. Heaps of old dead cars!

I have my photo selected but I’m still despondent about the cleaners not turning up so I’m going to mope around for a few more days. I’ll post after I’m done doing that.
